Moroni has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Ph.D. in Energy Research and is a Freelancer in the field of plant engineering and energy technologies. He has planned and supervised the layout and realization of highly innovative systems and has followed through the audit and diagnosis of complex energetic structures at domestic and international level.

After achieving excellent results as independent professional he founded a consulting studio focusing on the layout of technical systems.
